Born in 1145.
Father: Count Hugh VIII of Lusignan.
Married firstly in 1174 ESCHIVA of Ibelin (*c. 1160,+1196/7).
Married secondly in 1198 in Acre Princess ISABELLA of Jerusalem (+1205).
He was crowned in 1197 in the Cathedral of St Sophia in Nicosia.
His issue who reigned:
-HUGH I (*c. 1194,+1218; son of Eschiva),
-Sibylla (*1198,+1252; Queen of Armenia; daughter of Isabella).
Died in 1205 in Acre (probably poisoned).
Buried in the Cathedral of St Sophia in Nicosia (no tomb).

Born in c. 1194.
Father: King Amalric I of Cyprus. Mother: Queen Eschiva of Ibelin.
Married in 1210 ALICE of Champagne (*c. 1196,+1246).
His issue who reigned: HENRY I (*1217,+1253).
Died in 1218 at Tripoli (now Lebanon).
Buried firstly in the Church of St John (Hospitallers) at Tripoli/Lebanon, later reburied in the Church of St John (Hospitallers) in Nicosia (demolished).

1218-1253: HENRY I THE FAT (Henri I le Gros)
Born in 1217.
Father: King Hugh I of Cyprus. Mother: Queen Alice of Champagne.
Married firstly in 1229 at Limassol ALICE of Montferrat (*c. 1210/15,+c. 1232/33).
Married secondly in 1237/38 in Nicosia STEPHANIE of Lampron (*c. 1220/25,+1249).
Married thirdly in 1250 in Nicosia Princess PLAISANCE of Antioch (*c. 1235,+1261).
He was crowned in 1225 in the Cathedral of St Sophia in Nicosia.
His issue who reigned:
-HUGH II (*c. 1253,+1267; son of Plaisance).
Died in 1253 in Nicosia.
Buried in the Church of the Holy Saviour of the Cemetery (Templars) in Nicosia (demolished).

Born in 1259/67.
Father: King Hugh III of Cyprus. Mother: Queen Isabella of Ibelin.
Unmarried.
He was crowned in 1284 in the Cathedral of St Sophia in Nicosia.
Died in 1285 in Nicosia (probably poisoned).
Buried in the Church of the Holy Saviour of the Cemetery in Nicosia (demolished).

1285-1324: HENRY II (Henri II)
Born in 1271.
Father: King Hugh III of Cyprus. Mother: Queen Isabella of Ibelin.
Married in 1317 in Nicosia Princess CONSTANCE of Sicily (*1303/07,+c. 1344).
He was crowned in 1285 in Acre (other sources claim the Cathedral of St Sophia in Nicosia as the venue).
Deposed in 1306 and exiled in Armenia 1310.
Restored in 1310.
Died in 1324 at Strovolos near Nicosia.
Buried in the Church of St Francis in Nicosia (demolished).

1324-1358: HUGH IV (Hugues IV)
Born in c. 1295.
Father: Guy of Lusignan. Mother: Eschiva of Ibelin.
Married firstly in 1307/10 Maria of Ibelin (*1294,+1318).
Married secondly in 1318 ALICE of Ibelin (+1386).
He was crowned in 1324 in the Cathedral of St Sophia in Nicosia.
His issue who reigned:
-PETER I (*1328,+1369; son of Alice),
-JAMES I (*1334,+1398; son of Alice).
Abdicated in 1358.
Died in 1359 in Nicosia.

Father: King Hugh IV of Cyprus. Mother: Queen Alice of Ibelin.

Married secondly in 1353 Princess ELEANOR of Aragon (*1333,+1416).
He was crowned in 1358 in the Cathedral of St Sophia in Nicosia.
His issue who reigned:
-PETER II (*c. 1357,+1382; son of Eleanor).
Died in 1369 in Nicosia (murdered).
Buried in the Church of St Dominic in Nicosia (demolished).
His Queen Eleanor of Aragon was buried in the Franciscan Convent in Barcelona. In the 20th c. her remains were reburied in the Cathedral of Barcelona.

1369-1382: PETER II THE FAT (Pierre II le Gros)
Born in c. 1357.
Father: King Peter I of Cyprus. Mother: Queen Eleanor of Aragon.
Married in 1378 in Nicosia VALENTINA Visconti of Milan (*c. 1360,+c. 1393).
He was crowned in 1372 in the Cathedral of St Sophia in Nicosia.
Died in 1382 in Nicosia.
Buried in the Church of St Dominic in Nicosia (demolished).

1382-1398: JAMES I (Jacques I)
Born in 1334.
Father: King Hugh IV of Cyprus. Mother: Queen Alice of Ibelin.
Married in 1365 HELVIS of Brunswick-Grubenhagen (*1353,+1421).
He was crowned in 1385 in the Cathedral of St Sophia in Nicosia.
His issue who reigned:
-JANUS (*1375,+1432),
-Maria (*1381,+1404; Queen of Naples).
Died in 1398 in Nicosia.
Buried with his Queen Helvis in the Church of St Dominic in Nicosia (demolished).

1398-1432: JANUS
Born in 1375 in Genoa.
Father: King James I of Cyprus. Mother: Queen Helvis of Brunswick-Grubenhagen.
Married firstly in 1400 LOUISA (Angelesia) Visconti (+1439 Reggio). Marriage annulled in 1408.
Married secondly in 1411 in Nicosia Countess CHARLOTTE of Bourbon-La Marche (*1388,+1422).
His issue who reigned:
-JOHN II (*1418,+1458; son of Charlotte),
-Anne (*1419,+1462; Duchess of Savoy; daughter of Charlotte).
Died in 1432 in Nicosia.

Died in 1458 in Nicosia.
Buried with his both queens in the Church of St Dominic in Nicosia (demolished).

1458-1464: CHARLOTTE
Born in 1442.
Father: King John II of Cyprus. Mother: Queen Helena Palaeologus.
Married firstly in 1456 Prince John of Portugal (*1433,+1457).
Married secondly in 1459 Prince LOUIS of Savoy (*c. 1437 Geneva,+1482 Ripaille).
She was deposed in 1464 and exiled in Rome.
Died in 1487 in Rome.
Buried in St Peter's Basilica in Rome, the Vatican.
Her consort King Louis of Savoy was buried in the Priory at Ripaille, France (demolished).

1464-1473: JAMES II THE BASTARD (Jacques II le Bâtard)
Born in c. 1439 in Nicosia.
Father: King John II of Cyprus. Mother: Marietta of Patras.
Married in 1472 at Famagusta (by proxy in 1468 at Venice) CATHERINE Cornaro (*1454 Venice,+1510 Venice).

Died in 1473 in Famagusta.
Buried in the Cathedral of St Nicholas in Famagusta (no tomb).

He was crowned in 1473.

1474-1489: CATHERINE CORNARO (Catarina Cornaro)
Born in 1454 at Venice.
Father: Marco Cornaro. Mother: Fiorenza née Crispo.
Married in 1472 at Famagusta (by proxy in 1468 at Venice) King JAMES II of Cyprus (*1440,+1473).
Abdicated in 1489 at Famagusta and exiled in the Venetian Republic.
Her issue who reigned:

Died in 1510 at Venice.
